Career Objective

Highly committed to assisting and providing simple but effective medical laboratory services to  communities for primary emergency diagnosis; I look forward to finding a platform where I can put my skills to use as a medical laboratory scientist, especially in performing tests in a laboratory setting, whenever the need arises.

Laboratory Services Provider

Promote Health and physical wellness through diagnosis at the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board 2011-2015.

·         Receiving, processing and analysing samples. Depending on the work setting, the samples may consist of blood and tissue (health care); air, water and soil (environment and public health); chemical products (chemical and pharmaceutical industry).

·         Conducting tests on new products or experimental processes.

·         Using, cleaning and maintaining various types of equipment.

·         Handling and storing chemicals and other materials

·         Engaged in research studies.

Community Immunization Program Facilitator

Assisted in several community health and immunization programs as a facilitator, especially in communities where there has been poor response and records of immunization, at the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board 2011-2015

·         Specialized in leading group activities, such as group discussions, exercises, and role plays, to ensure that the people understand why they should be immunized.

·         Always summarize, or ask a participant to summarize, what was discussed in the exercise

·         Monitor the progress of each participant.
