The Physical Activity objectives for Healthy People 2020 reflect the strong state of the science supporting the health benefits of regular physical activity among youth and adults, as identified in the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans (PAG).
Regular physical activity can improve the health and quality of life of individuals of all ages. Yet, it is recorded that more than 80 percent of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities.
Physical activity can be improved or promoted by Structured environment; sidewalks, bike lanes, trails, and parks and Legislative policies that improve access to facilities that support physical activity.  Nevertheless, some jobs (bank Jobs) predispose individuals to a sedentary lifestyle. Sedentary lifestyles increases mortality, double the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity, and increase the risks of colon cancer, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, lipid disorders, depression and anxiety.

SAY NO TO SEDENTARY LIFE STYLE AND YES TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. ‘Move it, Loose it, Prevent it”

This blog was created as a class assignment and to  create awareness of the dangers of sedentary lifestyle created by Job culture, in order to incorporate more active forms of  work place practices, with the aim to reducing sedentary behavior while increasing physical activity and engaging in a healthier lifestyle.
